After you rescue him from the stoning, he’ll ask you to get back his clothes, and, more importantly, the disk that is the key to unlock your way to the Cyclops boss. From there, you will have to answer three riddles the Sphinx gives you.
Then, go back to the Sphinx and activate it. You’ll have to kill the lion chilling out there, and get the Amulet Fragment from it.
Your goal is Tomb of Menoikeus, to the southeast of the lair of the Sphinx. Fortunately, the location you’re looking for isn’t too far off.
